Resident is a culinary platform that connects you with the face behind the food. Each of our events is a ‘chef’s table’-style dining experience with the chef designing and executing their own menu, and personally introducing each course.
Rather than a traditional restaurant, we host our events in luxury residential spaces around NYC. Current venues range from a penthouse in the Financial District to a lounge in Midtown West. The exact address of each dinner is shared after ticket purchase.
Yes! You can book us for team dinners, holiday parties, board lunches, celebrations, and small-scale weddings.
Each dinner is a 5+ course tasting menu with wine pairing and gratuity. Tax is billed separately.
Yes, one of our sommeliers expertly pairs each dish and shares tasting notes with the group.
Our ticketed events range from 20-40 guests.
Resident events are designed to be intimate and have limited availability. We are able to process full refunds 7 days before your event - and can offer a gift card for a date change with 72 hours of notice. After that window, we are unable to accommodate requests unless there is a 'force majeure', such as restrictions set forth by local governments.
As a result of the pandemic, all guests are seated only with members of their own party. Tables are distanced and we operate well below 25% capacity. If you’d like to be seated with another party, make a note with your reservation or shoot us an email.
For the remainder of 2020, all events will be hosted indoors following our rigorous health & safety standards. If your party would feel more comfortable sitting outside, shoot us a note and we’ll make an effort to accommodate you.
Each Resident meal is designed entirely by one of our Michelin-trained chefs. With chefs specializing in New-American, Chinese, Filipino, French, Italian, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Nordic, Peruvian, and Venezuelan cuisines (and more!), you can expect something exciting and delicious, each evening. Each chef’s menu changes on an event-by-event basis. You can view past menus for each chef in our Food section.
Simply note them when you book your tickets and our chef will ensure your needs are met. If it is less than 72 hours from event time, please still communicate your allergies although alternate dishes cannot be guaranteed within this window.

Resident typically only hosts events in our own venues, however, we *occasionally* make exceptions. Email us to find out more.
We don't offer parking. If you need help find a space near our venue, email us and we'll do our best to help.
