Chef Harold Villarosa

Filipino born and South Bronx raised, Chef Harold’s culinary journey took him from working the line at McDonalds to honing his skills at acclaimed restaurants like Noma (3 Michelin Stars), Per Se (2 Michelin Stars), and Batard (1 Michelin Star). Harold has held Executive Chef positions at Freeman’s Restaurant and most recently, The Stand. He is the founder of InsurgoProject, a community organization focused on bringing the farm-to-table movement to inner-city food deserts. Harold also serves as the US Culinary Ambassador to Denmark and is a member of Bon Appetit’s Test Kitchen.
