Chef Owen L'Aquila
A true New York native, Owen was raised in Harrison Westchester. He got his start in the restaurant industry as a bartender and waiter, which piqued his interest in the culinary arts. His first humble opportunity was making smash burgers at a hole-in-the-wall in his hometown. Gaining confidence, he dove headfirst into the fine dining kitchens of Morimoto, Marea (1 Michelin star), and Daniel (2 Michelin stars). Owen is now the Sous Chef at Carbone (1 Michelin star), where he has found his culinary “home”.
