Haya Emaan is a highly accomplished chef who has made a name for herself as one of Pakistan's few professionally trained chefs. She started her culinary career at Avari Towers, a premium hotel in Karachi, Pakistan. She later graduated from The Culinary Institute of America, where she was the valedictorian of her class. Haya has worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens around the world. She is an alumna of Jean-Georges' multi-starred flagship in New York City. She has also staged at some of the most prominent restaurants in the world, such as Per Se (3 Michelin Stars), Cosme, Morimoto, Le Bernardin (3 Michelin Stars), Restaurant Ramsay, Zuma, Saga (2 Michelin Stars), Atomix (2 Michelin Stars) and Joel Robuchon. Previously, Haya was the Sous Chef at Eleven Madison Park (3 Michelin Stars). Haya is now back in New York as the Executive Sous Chef for Jean-Georges Vongerichten's new restaurant, Four Twenty-Five, which is scheduled to open in early December 2023.
