Chef Omar was part of Resident’s early days and has since opened Honeysuckle in Philadelphia, a restaurant rooted in the cultures and cuisines of the Black diaspora. He was recently named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs of 2026.

We’re honored to welcome Chef Omar back for this one-of-a-kind Alumni Dinner—a celebration of familiar faces, shared stories, exceptional food, and the community that has helped shape Resident.
